George Vance McGee is now officially a PAID Income generating Indepedent Book Author! Get Excited!




I am so happily excited friends, blog and books readers! Why? I just received an actual income CHECK from the largest independent Book Store in Texas, Book People. They've stated my $186.72 dollar book sale check is derived from in-store sales of 31 books. Alright! Thanks, patrons and readers for visiting  BookPeople and buying my 2 books. According to BookPeople's consignment program, "Open Mindful, Philosophy on the Fly" has sold 16 copies, while "Attractive  Tales from Grand Cities, a Social Memoir." has sold 15 copies. Excellent Book Author and Literary News All Around!

Please continue to visit and buy my 2 books @ BookPeople in Downtown, Austin! The friendly, helpful and easy going Book Store workers, have re-stocked their shelves with my newly improved covers, page numbering, packaging,  and Author Book Signatures. Liberal and Open Minded to me almost seem to be pseudonyms. I would guess it could be possible to be conservative and open minded, just in my eyes those two ideals seem to be juxtaposed. What in my upbringing and brain, elicits this open minded worldly outlook, and positive, friendly mindset??? It could have either been my parental affluent hippie 60's upbringing or perhaps my University Liberal Arts Education, or yet again my 5 full years of daily life in Manhattan and the mecca that is New York City. People and their PETS.

In the style of Jerry Seinfeld, " What's the deal with people and their pets? Dogs especially. What is the mass human attraction to dogs as pets? What in the minds and soul attracts humans to caring for, paying, walking and being an owner for these animals? Please help me understand . I mean, in my humble opinion, the negatives for dogs are, they can't talk with humans. A dog will never be able to speak and converse with their owner. Also they must constantly be cared for, bathed, walked, fed, leashed, cleaned up after and more. What joy do these dogs and animals bring? In addition dogs cause destruction to real estate, & are tough to constantly care for. They also smell and are not universally loved or accepted by guests. How are we ENTERTAINED?

DO you like to be entertained? IF your human, most people do and enjoy laughter, muses, lights and more. Just like the Kings and Jesters of yesteryear, in the modern age, we love ENTERTAINMENT too! Are you OPEN MINDFUL to different forms on entertainment? Which are your favorites? For example, off of the top of my head, I can think of books, live music, movies, television, broadway shows, bars & nightclubs, restaurants, stores, shopping malls, stand up comics, vacations, social media, friends, and the such. Am I leaving your favorite form out? Personally, I am open minded to various forms of entertainment. I love tv, live music, and nightlife.
